This artist loft is designed for optimal use of one space for both living and working. Designed and built for an international art + architecture competition, this installation required making built-ins for sleeping, storage, lighting, and sitting all within a one team selected loft unit. The staggered stairs were on wheels to provide vertical access to the wall space throughout the loft. The enframent shaped within the space created a visual connection extending through the window to the urban mural art work across the street.
