Through a process of 3D
modeling, animation, and
video montage these still
montages were developed
to represent space/ time
sequencing in different
movement systems in Los
Angeles. This represents
the staccato-like perceptual
experience while riding the
urban subway and bus systems,
and walking through bridges
and tunnels. Metaphorically
and visually, they represent
a nature of social urban fabric
that is woven together through
the transit paths extending
about, through, and around
the city of Los Angeles.
