A historical snapshot of Los Angeles,
this stately Brentwood tudor home was
once owned by Rod Stewart as well as
Melissa Etheridge. Ms. Hoeksema acted
as Associate Architect to Arianne Groth,
assisting in design development and construction
documentation for this high end addition
renovation project which included a free
standing pool house integrated with landscape
elements. The design challenges involved
updating the historical building skin to
today's standards while maintaining the
the aesthetic integrity of the structure.
The new spaces were designed with a high
level of detail to accomodate the family's
needs for a personal sense of place.
