ARCHITECTURE
Ms. Hoeksema was project manager
for the auditorium space for this
theatre eventually built in Chicago's
Millennium Park during her interning
at HBRA Architects. The acoustical
clouds and towers were built of steel
with a plywood shell. The steel also
provided places to position lighting.
At the urban scale, this interesting
aspect of this project was that is was
underground. Much of the road's infra-
structure around the site has multiple
layers. The entry to this theatre
stretched around 4 layers deep of Chiago's
Randolph road.
