This project requires adaptive
reuse of an existing industrial
building into a new church. The
new pergola's site orientation
connects the parking to the front
entry. The pathway keeps the
pedestrian circulation away from
the busy street and provides a
covered walkway for the elderly
and families during inclimant
weather. Its final function
addresses sustainability, the
heat gain within the building.
The pergola canopy shades the east
side of the building, allowing
windows to be designed into the
primary east facing site facade.
