ARCHITECTURE
Photo Loft is a mixed use project
that integrates a photo studio on
the street level with an open lofted
living space on the upper floor.
Conceptually the space is organized
by grouping public and private spaces
in plan and integrating them through
visual perspective points. The cooridor
is designed as a habitable space versus
a typical throughway. The bedroom area
has an elevated floor and large barn
doors operating like walls creating a
flow of spaces and reinforcing the
openess of the loft. The spacial
organization, from top to bottom, is
design to stimulate movement through
the spaces during gallery events.
