Inspired by the phenomenon of the zebra muscle mass colonization in the great lakes, these sunglasses were designed with the intention of being applied on to the exterior surfaces of existing buildings. They are devices that provide variable shading effects during different times of day and help manipulate air circulation for passive heating and cooling. They respond to the forces of sun and wind.

• Passive cooling and heating
• Operable controls by individual habitant
• Aestetic application
• Reiteration of natural phenomenon
